Books can help us break down barriers on topics we otherwise forsake. Proper mental health care in both childhood and adulthood is as important as any form of wellbeing. Ireland faces a revolution in mental health awareness, ready to educate all on the benefits of practicing it. Two contributors to the Irish Independent, Emotional Resilience (Hachette) author Dr Harry Barry and The Secret Life of Adults (Gill Books) author Allison Keating – psychologist and owner of Dublin’s BWell clinic, featured in media projects including TV3’s ‘How Healthy Are You?’ – work together to discuss the importance of good mental health, how to manage stress and anxiety, and how to safeguard your mental wellbeing in everyday life. This conversation will be chaired by Irish Times journalist Jennifer O’Connell.
Booking advised.
